Bangalore, also called Bengaluru, is the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. Bangalore is nicknamed the Garden City and was once called a pensioner's paradise. Located on the Deccan Plateau in the south-eastern part of Karnataka, Bangalore is India's third most populous city and fifth-most populous urban agglomeration. Bangalore is the major centre of India's IT industry, popularly known as the Silicon Valley of India.

 

Mysore is Karnataka's second biggest city, situated in Southern India. It is the second cleanest city in India and one of the well-planned ones. It is, also, noted for its palaces including the Mysore Palace, and the festivities that take place during the Dasara festival when the city receives a large number of tourists.

 

Ooty is a famous budget holiday, mainly for its natural beauty. It has grown to be one of the most famous hill stations in India. Ooty or Udhagamandalam is the capital of the Nilgiri district. The climate of this place is generally pleasant and thus suitable for leisure tours. The major attractions of this hill station are the green valleys, beautiful mountains and the vast tea estates.

 

Itinerary: 04 nights / 05 days Itinerary for Bangalore – Mysore - Ooty

Day01: Bangalore arrival
Pick up from Bangalore airport/ railway station & transfer to the hotel .Later proceed for the sightseeing of Bangalore. Visit to Iskcon temple, Nehru Planetarium, National Park, Cubbon Park, Lal bagh, Ulsoor Lake, Tipu sultan palace etc. Evening return to hotel and overnight stay.

Day02: Bangalore – Mysore (150km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Mysore & transfer to the hotel visiting the magnificent Maharaja's Palace, Chamundi Hills and the Art Gallery which houses a fine collection of paintings and musical instruments. Evening you may take an optional tour of the beautiful Brindavan Gardens. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Mysore-Ooty (125km / 2.30 hrs)
After breakfast check-out from hotel and drive to Ooty (4hrs.) - The "Queen of Hill stations" nestled in the Nilgiri range and popularly known as Ooty, a Britisher Mr. John Sullivan discovered Ooty in 1821; the sheer grandeur of this romantic city is enough to drain anyone out. Arrive and transfer to hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Night stay in Ooty.


Day 04: Ooty
Morning proceed for half day tour of the Botanical Gardens and the Museum with the numerous varieties of ornamental trees and plants is an attraction for all tourists, One can see the best profiles of nature, each embedded with a distinctive grandeur. It's the majestic waterfalls, never-ending forests, and beautiful tea gardens, lush green meadows, placid lake, manicured golf courses that are really spellbinding. Night stay in Ooty.


Day 05: Ooty-Bangalore (290km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast check-out from hotel and drive to Bangalore. Arrive and transfer to Airport / Railway station for onward destination.
